10/23/2022 - New Album "By a Thread" Available for Streaming & Download

The new climate-themed album "By a Thread" is available on Bandcamp for free streaming and download. You can also name your price if you wish. It features 8 new original songs that incorporate a wide range of stylistic influences, and includes a guest performance by New Mexico rap artist Graphic Grim. It is also now available on all other major streaming services, and on the music streaming coop Resonate's website. Resonate is a more equitable music sharing platform, where listeners and artists alike share ownership. CDs are currently being made, and will be available for delivery around mid-November. Debut Album: Invisible Warmth

(Released in December 2019)

Featuring songs written over a 4-year span, this self-produced album reflects a wide-range of stylistic influences, including jazz, folk, rock, and classical. Jason brings his penchant for adventurous harmonies, introspective lyrics, and layered guitar parts to bear on these arrangements. The album is comprised of 9 original songs, as well as an interpretation of the 19th century folk gem "Shenandoah." Lyrical themes explored include loneliness, love, our environmental crisis, and healing from trauma. A number of guest musicians generously contributed their talents, such as the Colorado Front Range band ELMR, lending their exquisitely beautiful voices for a 4-part choir on the song "Lay My Weary Head." Longmont-based singer-songwriter Meredith Wilder—of the bands ELMR and Wildewood, as well as an accomplished solo artist—provides her angelic vocal harmonies on the songs "Antlers" and "End of a World," in addition to having played a central role engineering the album. Louisville-based multi-instrumentalist Michael Santulli, of the band The Diablos, lends his beautiful bowed double bass playing on the song "Lay My Weary Head." What results is a sonically varied and highly personal debut album, which is the fulfillment of Jason's long-held wish to share his music in a full-length release.
